I saw Hannah recently (Jan 21) for a back problem that had persisted for a couple of weeks. After just one session my back pain was reduced and I felt so much better. Hannah works on the whole body not just where I thought my pain was which I think is what gave me such a good outcome. She is such a lovely caring and calm person you can't help but feel better once you've seen her. My second session with her I felt amazing and she even did some acupuncture. I would highly recommend Hannah and will definitely use her again.

I have seen many Osteopaths, chiropractors and Physio’s over the years, but after visiting Hannah, I want to tell you all how wonderfully different, great and amazing I feel. Not only did Hannah work her magic on my lower back which was affecting my legs, mood and appetite, I experienced acupuncture for the first time. I took Hannah’s advice and purchased some magnesium to take before bed to help relax my muscles and nervous system. so after a hot bubble bath, completing the yoga routine and drinking the magnesium, I feel absolutely amazing! Something I thought I’d never feel again. I went to bed that night, what I can only explain as pain free, light as a feather, relaxed and I slept like a baby. I have learnt to live with the pain and discomfort, until I met Hannah. After visiting so many different professionals over the years and seeing Hannah for just a short time, she has made such a difference. I’ve experienced so many years of being uncomfortable, in pain and exhauste...

Pain management, injuries & trauma

Hannah is a qualified Osteopath & Medical Acupuncturist with a MSc/MOst (distinction) from Oxford Brookes University.

Hannah provides empathic, honest and focused care, and goes above and beyond for her patients. This is reflected in the reviews and recommendations she receives.

Hannah is passionate about considering a patients environmental, nutritional and emotional influences, which assists her to support each patient in achieving long-lasting pain free results.

What is Osteopathy, and how can it help?

Osteopaths are Primary and Allied Health Practitioners (AHP) who treat a wide range of medical conditions and pain conditions. Osteopathy is based on the principle that the well-being of an individual depends on the skeleton, muscles, ligaments and connective tissues functioning smoothly together. Osteopaths restore your body to a state of balance using touch, physical manipulation, stretching and massage to improve the mobility of joints, relieve muscle tension, to enhance blood and nerve supply to tissues, and to help promote your own body's healing capacity.

After assessment and treatment, Hannah will provide a tailored rehabilitation regime compromising of strengthening and stretching to each patient, and will continue to monitor your progress in clinic and throughout the treatment sessions.

Hannah welcomes all ages, from children to elderly, and a wide range of conditions; sports injuries, back pain, stress, to pre and post-partum pain.

Hannah's Specialist interests include:

  • Stress, and the effect on the body
  • Pain and pain management
  • Rehabilitation
  • Hypermobility
  • Sports injuries; in particular runners
  • Pre and postpartum women

Hannah has ran several international half and full marathons, this has led her to develop an understanding of how sports injuries can affect an athlete physically and emotionally, and has a passion to help people to return to activities they love doing!

Hannah has an interest in how stress and trauma affect the body, and she gave a talk in May 2019 for Oxford University’s mental health week, to provide their students with helpful tips to combat stress and anxiety (from an osteopathic and allied health perspective).

Hannah was awarded a distinction grade for her Master’s dissertation on the subject of gait analysis, and subsequently presented her research at the Oxford Brookes University Get Published! conference 2016. The research is published on the Oxford Brookes University Radar website.

Hannah is a member of Oxfordshire Osteopathic Network (OON) and is registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOSc).
